Safety Assessment of Xenobiotics and Biotechnological Products

A new Master Course in “Safety Assessment of Xenobiotics and Biotechnological Products” proposed by our Departiment is available from academic year 2015-2016. The aim of Safety Assessment of Xenobiotics and Biotechnological Products master is to provide specific knowledge in the analysis and assessment of risk, taking into account the European standards. Limited enrollment with admission test. Registration will begin on 15 July 2016 and terminate on 5 September 2016 at 12.00 midday, at the very latest. The admission exam will take place on 12 September 2016.

SAVE THE NEW DATE - NEXT STEP VII 11th July 2016

Next Step is back! This is a one-day event entirely organized by the young researchers of the Department of Pharmacological and Biomolecular Sciences (DiSFeB), University of Milan, which will be held on Wednesday July 11th 2016. Here attached the program of the event. In the morning session, PhD students and Marie Curie fellows will present their research, and in the afternoon Prof. Martin Kater (DiSFeB) will run the workshop “How to write a scientific paper”.

DiSFeB Meets NICO: the seminar of March 2016

We are pleased to announce that the Department of Pharmacological and Biomolecular Sciences (DiSFeB) of the University of Milan and the Neuroscience Institute Cavalieri Ottolenghi (NICO), Turin will host a new series of seminars entitled "DiSFeB Meets NICO: Neuroscience Builds Bridge from Milan to Turin". The next seminar on "Multiple roles of COUP-TFI in adult neurogenesis" will be held by Prof. Silvia De Marchis on March 15th, 2016.

Botanicals for nutrition and health: from the Nagoya protocol to the international cooperation

The conference “Botanicals for nutrition and health: from the Nagoya protocol to the international cooperation”, followed by the “Workshop On Plant Food Supplements: from the scientific aspects to Legislation”, will be held on July 13th, 2015 in the Sala napoleonica of our University (Via Sant’Antonio, 10 – Milano). Both the events are organized by our Department in cooperation with the Nutrition Foundation of Italy.
