Next Step meeting is back! This is an event entirely organized by the young researchers of the Department of Pharmacological and Biomolecular Sciences (DiSFeB), University of Milan. PhD students and young researchers will present their latest findings, and Corrado Sinigaglia, professor of Logic and Philosophy of Science of the University of Milan, will give a plenary lecture. The meeting will take place in Milan, via Giuseppe Balzaretti 9, (Aula Magna) on June 29th, 2017.
Safety Assessment of Xenobiotics and Biotechnological Products
Application for the Master Course in “Safety Assessment of Xenobiotics and Biotechnological Products” (SAXBi), proposed by our Departiment, is now open. The aim of the Master Course is to provide specific knowledge in the analysis and assessment of risk, taking into account the European and international standards.
Lipids lipoproteins and atherosclerosis
The Pre-Symposium “Lipids lipoproteins and atherosclerosis: From genes to therapy”, in the frame of the 85th EAS Congress, will be held on April 22nd-23rd, 2017 in Prague - Czech Republic. Prof. Alberico Luigi Catapano of our Department will chair the meeting.

Our Department takes part in the Horizon 2020-funded joint doctoral project MOGLYNET (“Modulation of glycolytic flux as a new approach for treatment of atherosclerosis and plaque stabilization: a multidisciplinary study”).

The conference “Botanicals for nutrition and health: from the Nagoya protocol to the international cooperation”, followed by the “Workshop On Plant Food Supplements: from the scientific aspects to Legislation”, will be held on July 13th, 2015 in the Sala napoleonica of our University (Via Sant’Antonio, 10 – Milano). Both the events are organized by our Department in cooperation with the Nutrition Foundation of Italy.
