Luci ed Ombre (Lights and Shadows)

The Laboratory of Psycopharmacology and Molecular Psychiatry of the DiSFeB has organized the initiative “Luci E Ombre” (Lights & Shadows) aimed at tackling the issue of mental illness and the associated stigma, using the language of dance.

The first event will take place on March 27th in Sotto il Monte Giovanni XXIII.

The focus will be on “depression”, through a journey starting from the importance of scientific research to get a better understanding of how this condition can have dramatic consequences in specific key periods of life, such as pregnancy and adolescence.
Moreover, it will be discussed the impact on our brain and mind of the COVID19 pandemic, which forced us to physical isolation and only virtual contacts.
The event, thought and created by Annamaria Cattaneo and Zvetomira Todorova, will be attended by several experts in the field of mental health (Marco Andrea Riva, Roberta Rossi , Roberta Anniverno, Claudio Mencacci, Alessandra Bramante among others), artists (Dance Studio Todorova, Sun Star Dance, Trio teatrale Ars Vivendi, Sasha Riva ) and La Compagnia dei Cocci Potsherds.
