Silvia Diviccaro is a post-doctoral fellow at DISFEB. From 2015 to 2018 she carried out her doctoral studies at the laboratory of Neuroendocrinology, evaluating the effects of finasteride (a 5alpha-reductase inhibitor) in the central nervous system. Her current research is aimed to identify the molecular mechanisms underlying mood alterations and sexual dysfunctions drug-induced in persistent way.

Eva Falvo is a PhD student at DISFEB. After having completed her thesis internship at the CarloBesta Neurological Institute in Milan, dealing with the evaluation of an oil preparation in the treatment of an experimental model of diabetes, she graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology in February 2019. In October 2019, she started the PhD at the laboratory of professor Roberto CosimoMelcangi.
Her PhD project is aimed at the study of diabetic encephalopathy and the possible alterations associated with it, focusing on the levels of neuroactive steroids and steroidogenesis.
